Dracula as Noah

Dracula : The classic story of Bram ٍStoker where Jonathan(his name means given of god) was invited to Dracula's (in Romanian means son of devil) castle as he becomes almost a prisoner threatened by the three sisters of Dracula (Draculas prides) until he ran away back to his fiancee "Mina" where another adventure arises between him , Mina and the vampire.

Does this story teach us faith , kindness and mercy or lead us to society's disbelief ?
The author who is a religious man introduces a delicate , educated gentleman : the  protagonist "Jonathan" which is clearly a sissy weak man who faints when facing danger .
Jonathan himself describes Dracula's driver "Again I couldn't but notice his prodigious strength . - p11".

So the admirable character is clearly Dracula the mighty, powerful rich and aristocratic knight .
whoever, people have different tastes according to them own principles  But is weakness a valuable concept that we have to cherish ? or preach ?

At first , and at the mother land “ancient Egypt” , Sekhmet  was the strong goddess of destruction who drinks blood and never wants to stop after tasting it . she is known by her power of both causing diseases and healing .
Then  many pharaohs were bathing in blood to gain fertility and power . So blood was deeply a A sign of life and power.

Weakness has many forms for individuals , society and authority .
dependent men and women who rely much on common means and society acceptance are feeble people
 described by deficiency of blood.
But the pattern of Vampire's personality is always independent , strong and   lonely by means unique and isolated
In other words 'complete' .
For such complete Dracula , why should he needs society or authority?

Vampires even with the dramatic Hollywood touch , are nothing but an example of Isolated unique people who are always damned by society always wicked by them own supremacy.

Envy is the feeble's tool for expressing them inability and so as some religious followers like Stoker who exaggerates the devilish image of such a great aristocrat "Dracula" for the sake of religious community in his fight with local ancient cults.

In Queen of Dammed movie : Lestat the vampire (Stuart Townsend) woke up to see his partner Akasha: the queen of damned (Aaliyah) killed hundreds of people and them corpses are scattered around and in just two sentences both demonstrate one of the most complex paradox of life : what are the limits of power ?

  • Akasha: Drinking my blood allows you to live in the light. And soon the sun will no longer sting your eyes. This is but a taste of what we shall share my love, my king. Behold our kingdom.
  • Lestat: Kingdom of corpses? Why?
  • Akasha: Why not?
  • Lestat: This is why you have risen?
  • Akasha: They believed in nothing. Now they are nothing.

So stated David Hume
" Where the deity is represented as infinitely superior to mankind, this

belief, though altogether just, is apt, when joined with superstitious terrors, to
sink  the  human  mind  into  the  lowest  submission  and  abasement,  and  to
represent the monkish virtues of mortification, penance, humility, and passive
suffering, as the only qualities which are acceptable to him.  "
P22 David Hume – The natural history of religion
We , by giving that weakness that unconscious motivation of society the sacred religious authority we push people to adapt the culture of copies and despites culture of distinction . *

Yes Dracula is an antichrist and a blood taker : powerful and cruel while Jesus is a donor who is been crucified ,  a merciful helpless monk just as Nietzsche described him in Thus spoke Zarathustra " god is dead and his mercy killed him". Power versus weakness is a personal choice.

" He is the angel with the scabbed wings
Hard-drug face, want to powder his nose
He will deflower the freshest crop
Dry up all the wombswith his rock and roll sores
Dead - Is what he is "
Marilyn Manson - Angel With The Scabbed Wings

Dracula and Sekhmet  are the rebels who own the virtue of disobedience and reach ultimate power .
These great damned should be our personal measure to determine our delusional percentage and how much we are blinded by society.
Thus , Dracula is somehow our Noah , out of this flaw fluid of nihilism , may be a bright indication of life and will to power .
